MyAstroTech Terms and Conditions of Usage
These Terms and Conditions ('Terms,' 'Agreement') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User,' 'Member,' 'You,' 'Your') and Godly Innovations Private Limited ('MyAstroTech,' 'AstroTech,' 'We,' 'Us,' 'Our,' 'Company'), governing your access to and use of www.myastrotech.com and associated mobile applications (collectively, the 'Platform').
By clicking 'I Agree,' accessing, or using our Platform, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms unconditionally. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform. Continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any amendments.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Godly Innovations Private Limited ('MyAstroTech'), governing your access to and use of www.myastrotech.com and associated mobile applications (collectively, the 'Platform').
1.2 IMPORTANT NOTICE: By clicking 'I Agree,' accessing, or using our Platform, you expressly acknowledge that you:
- Have read, understood, and accept these Terms unconditionally
- Are legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Are at least 18 years of age (or accessing through a legal guardian)
- Agree to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and all applicable laws
1.3 If you do not agree, continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any amendments.
2. Definitions and Interpretation
2.1 'Platform' means the MyAstroTech website, mobile applications, and all associated services.
2.2 'Services' means astrological consultations, horoscope generation, numerology, tarot readings, palmistry, face reading, life coaching, gemstone recommendations, and related spiritual advisory services offered through the Platform.
2.3 'Free Services' means features accessible without payment or registration.
2.4 'Paid Services' means personalized consultations, detailed reports, and premium features requiring payment.
2.5 'Registered Member' means a User who has created an account on the Platform.
2.6 'Astrologer' or 'Service Provider' means independent consultants registered on the Platform to provide Services.
2.7 'AstroTech Connect' means our proprietary call masking system that connects Users with Astrologers without revealing phone numbers.
2.8 'Service Credits' means notional credits maintained in your account for availing Paid Services.
3. Eligibility and Registration
3.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Platform. Minors may access only through a parent or legal guardian who assumes full responsibility.
3.2 Legal Capacity: You must be capable of entering into legally binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3.3 Prohibited Users: You may not use the Platform if:
- You have been previously suspended or terminated by MyAstroTech
- You are prohibited by applicable law from accessing such services
- You reside in a jurisdiction where astrology services are restricted
- You have created multiple accounts using different phone numbers (one account per user)
3.4 Account Registration: You must provide current, accurate, and complete information during registration, maintain and promptly update your information, maintain confidentiality of your password and OTP, notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access, and refrain from transferring, selling, or sharing your account.
3.5 Verification: We may verify your information through OTP, email confirmation, or other means. We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts with inaccurate information.
4. Services Description
4.1 Platform Nature: MyAstroTech operates as a technology platform connecting Users with independent Astrologers and service providers. We do not provide astrological advice directly.
4.2 Service Categories:

4.3 First Free Consultation: New unique Users (identified by phone number + device ID) may receive a complimentary consultation of up to 5 minutes. Abuse of this feature (multiple accounts, fake details) will result in permanent suspension.
4.4 No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of any astrological advice, predictions, or remedies provided by Astrologers. All consultations are for entertainment and personal insight purposes only.
5. Astrologer Relationship and Conduct
5.1 Independent Contractors: Astrologers are independent service providers, not employees, agents, or representatives of MyAstroTech.
5.2 No Endorsement: Registration on our Platform does not constitute endorsement, verification, or guarantee of any Astrologer's qualifications, skills, or advice quality.
5.3 User Verification Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying an Astrologer's credentials before engaging their services.
5.4 Prohibited Astrologer Conduct: Astrologers are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing personal contact information (phone, email, social media, address) with Users
- Suggesting or performing black magic, vashikaran, witchcraft, tantrism, or voodoo
- Recommending dangerous, illegal, or harmful activities
- Making medical diagnoses or prescribing medication
- Guaranteeing specific outcomes or results
- Soliciting offline payments or meetings
5.5 Reporting Violations: You must report any Astrologer misconduct to support@myastrotech.com within 48 hours. Failure to report may result in account suspension.
5.6 Display Names: Astrologers may use professional display names different from their legal names for privacy protection. This is not misrepresentation.
6. Payments, Refunds, and Wallet Policy
6.1 Payment Terms: All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways. Prices are displayed in INR (₹) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You warrant that you are legally authorized to use the payment method provided. We do not store complete card details on our servers.
6.2 AstroTech Wallet and Service Credits
6.2.1 Nature of Service Credits
Service Credits are notional units of value for Platform services only — not legal tender, not transferable, not redeemable for cash. No interest accrues on Service Credits.
6.2.2 Types of Credits
Real Service Credits: Purchased through monetary payment; generally valid for 1 year. Virtual Service Credits: Promotional credits, cashback, referral rewards; valid for 14 days unless specified otherwise.
6.2.3 Utilization Order
Virtual and Real Service Credits are consumed proportionately (pro-rata basis) when both are available.
6.2.4 Expiry
Unused credits expire automatically after the validity period. No refund or extension for expired credits except where required by law. You are responsible for monitoring expiry dates displayed in your Wallet.
6.2.5 Account Closure
Upon account termination, unused Virtual Credits lapse immediately. Real Credits may be refunded to the source payment method subject to deduction of applicable fees and verification.

6.3.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios

6.3.3 Refund Process
Request via support@myastrotech.com or in-app support. Our quality audit team reviews chat/call recordings (you consent to this review by requesting a refund). Decision within 72 hours of request. Refunds credited to AstroTech Wallet (default) or original source at Company's discretion. Transaction fees deducted from source refunds.
6.3.4 No Cash Refunds
All refunds are processed to AstroTech Wallet unless exceptional circumstances apply and the Company approves a source refund.
7. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
7.1 Lawful Use: You agree to use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
7.2 Prohibited Conduct: You expressly agree NOT to engage in any of the following:

7.3 AI Training Prohibition: By accessing the Platform, you expressly agree NOT to use any content, data, consultations, or materials for training artificial intelligence models, machine learning algorithms, or creating derivative datasets without prior written consent. Violation may result in injunctive relief and monetary damages.
7.4 Restricted Content Standards: You may not upload, share, or transmit content that:
- Exploits or abuses children (CSAM) — results in immediate account deletion and legal reporting
- Promotes terrorism, violence, or hate speech
- Constitutes sexual content or profanity
- Encourages self-harm or suicide
- Involves illegal drugs, weapons, or dangerous products
- Violates any applicable law
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Ownership: All content on the Platform (software, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations) is the exclusive property of MyAstroTech or its licensors and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial use.
8.3 Prohibited Uses: You may not:
- Copy, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or decompile any Platform content
- Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Frame or mirror any part of the Platform without written consent
- Use our trademarks, logos, or trade names without authorization
8.4 User Content: By submitting content (reviews, feedback, questions), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for Platform operation and marketing.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference herein.
9.2 DPDP Act Compliance: We process personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You have rights as a Data Principal as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
9.3 Consent: By using the Platform, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 No Warranties: THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, non-infringement; uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free service; accuracy of astrological advice, predictions, or remedies; or results that may be obtained from using the Services.
10.2 Specific Disclaimers:
- Not Medical Advice: We are not a medical institution. Consultations do not constitute medical diagnosis or treatment. Seek qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
- Not Legal/Financial Advice: Astrological guidance is not legal, financial, or professional advice.
- Not Suicide Prevention: We are not a suicide helpline. If you have suicidal thoughts, contact emergency services or AASRA (91-22-27546669) immediately.
- No Outcome Guarantee: We do not guarantee any specific results from astrological consultations or remedies.
- Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for content provided by Astrologers or third parties.
10.3 Limitation of Liability — TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

10.5 Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyAstroTech, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
11.1 By User: You may deactivate your account by contacting support@myastrotech.com. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
11.2 By MyAstroTech: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms or Privacy Policy
- Providing false or misleading information
- Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Non-payment or chargeback abuse
- Extended inactivity (12+ months)
- Risk to Platform security or other users
11.3 Effect of Termination:
- Immediate cessation of Service access
- Forfeiture of unused Virtual Service Credits
- Real Service Credits may be refunded subject to terms
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate interests (see Privacy Policy)
11.4 Survival: Sections on Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 Jurisdiction: Subject to arbitration below, courts in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
12.3 Arbitration: Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Seat: New Delhi, India. Language: English. A sole arbitrator shall be appointed by mutual consent; failing which, by the Delhi High Court. The arbitration award is final and binding.
12.4 Injunctive Relief: Either party may seek interim injunctive relief from courts in New Delhi to protect rights pending arbitration.
12.5 Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to class or representative actions.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 We are not liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics
- Government actions, war, terrorism
- Internet failures, cyber-attacks beyond our security measures
- Third-party service provider failures
14. Notices

14.2 To You: Via registered email, SMS, or Platform notifications. Deemed received 24 hours after email or 3 days after posting.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, Privacy Policy, and any additional service-specific terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MyAstroTech.
15.2 Severability: If any provision is held invalid, remaining provisions continue in full force.
15.3 Waiver: No waiver of any breach constitutes waiver of subsequent breaches.
15.4 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign without restriction.
15.5 Third-Party Beneficiaries: Astrologers are third-party beneficiaries of provisions protecting them from user liability.
15.6 Headings: For convenience only; do not affect interpretation.
16. Amendments
16.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to the Platform.
16.2 Material Changes: We will notify via email or prominent Platform notice for material changes.
16.3 Continued Use: Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

18. AstroTech Wallet Detailed Terms
18.1 Wallet Nature and Characteristics
18.1.1 Not a Payment Instrument
The AstroTech Wallet is not a prepaid payment instrument under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007; not a bank account or deposit; not a stored value facility regulated by RBI; and not a transferable or negotiable instrument.
18.1.2 Purpose
The Wallet serves solely as an internal accounting mechanism for prepaid access to Platform services.

18.3 Credit Utilization Rules
18.3.1 Pro-Rata Consumption
When both Real and Virtual Credits exist, consumption ratio = (Available Virtual Credits) : (Available Real Credits). Example: If you have ₹100 Virtual and ₹200 Real, a ₹30 charge consumes ₹10 Virtual + ₹20 Real.
18.3.2 Service-Specific Restrictions
Some promotional credits may be restricted to specific astrologer categories, certain consultation types (chat only, not video), minimum order values, or first-time user services only.
18.3.3 Partial Utilization
Credits may be used partially. Remaining balance maintains original validity period.
18.4 Expiry and Lapse
18.4.1 Notification
We send expiry notifications 7 days before expiry for Real Credits and 3 days before expiry for Virtual Credits via app notification, email, and SMS (if consented).
18.4.2 Grace Period
No grace period beyond stated validity. Expired credits are automatically removed from balance.
18.4.3 Reinstatement
Expired credits may be reinstated only in cases of Platform technical error preventing usage, force majeure events preventing access, or Company-initiated account suspension later found erroneous.
18.5 Wallet Security
18.5.1 Unauthorized Use
You are responsible for all Wallet transactions until you report unauthorized access. We will investigate and may reverse fraudulent transactions if verified.
18.5.2 Frozen Wallets
We may freeze Wallet for suspected fraudulent activity, payment method disputes or chargebacks, account security concerns, or legal compliance requirements.
18.5.3 Unfreezing
Wallets are unfrozen after verification, dispute resolution, or legal clearance. Frozen balances remain intact but inaccessible during the freeze period.
19. Astrologer Service Specific Terms

19.2.2 Minimum Consultation
No minimum duration for pay-per-minute services. Flat-rate services have defined deliverables.
19.2.3 Astrologer Availability
We do not guarantee specific astrologer availability. Popular astrologers may have wait times.
19.3 Consultation Termination
19.3.1 By User
You may end a consultation at any time. Billing stops at termination for per-minute services.
19.3.2 By Astrologer
Astrologers may terminate for abusive language or behavior, requests for prohibited services (black magic, medical diagnosis), or technical inability to continue. Billing continues only for time already consumed.
19.3.3 By Platform
We may terminate for policy violations detected, payment method failure, or technical system maintenance. A pro-rated refund is provided for interrupted paid time.

20.3.2 Rudraksha
Sourced from verified suppliers; authenticity certificates provided for premium items.

Products are sold for spiritual/religious purposes only. No claims are made regarding health benefits, disease cure, or guaranteed results.
21. Content Moderation and Community Guidelines
21.1 User-Generated Content
21.1.1 Permitted Content
You may post reviews and ratings of astrologers (factual, non-defamatory), questions in community forums, testimonials (with consent for publication), and profile information.
21.1.2 Prohibited Content
You may NOT post personal contact information, hate speech or harassment, sexually explicit content, misinformation about medical treatments, copyright-infringing material, or spam promoting competing services.
21.2 Content Review and Removal
21.2.1 Pre-Publication
Some content (reviews, forum posts) may be screened before publication.
21.2.2 Post-Publication Removal
We may remove content that violates these Terms, is reported and verified as violating, is subject to legal takedown notice, or contains outdated or inaccurate information.
21.2.3 No Prior Notice
We are not obligated to notify before content removal, though we typically do so.
21.3 Reporting Mechanism

Use the 'Report' button adjacent to content or email support@myastrotech.com with the content location, violation type, and your contact information for follow-up.
21.3.2 Response Time
We aim to review reports within 24 hours for serious violations (hate speech, harassment, CSAM) and 72 hours for other violations.

Unless cancelled 7 days before the renewal date, the subscription automatically renews for the same duration. A renewal notification is sent 15 days prior.
22.2.4 Price Changes
We may increase prices upon renewal with 30-day advance notice. You may cancel if you do not accept new pricing.
23. Force Majeure and Service Interruptions
23.1 Force Majeure Events: We are not liable for failure to perform due to:
- Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, cyclone, pandemic)
- War, terrorism, riots, civil unrest
- Government actions, regulatory changes, internet shutdowns
- Major technical failures beyond our control (cloud provider outages)
- Cyber-attacks despite reasonable security measures
23.2 Service Continuity

Scheduled maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance when possible. Typically conducted during low-usage hours (2:00–5:00 AM IST).
23.2.2 Emergency Maintenance

No compensation for service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure, except where specifically guaranteed in paid service level agreements.

24.3 External Resolution (Tier 3)
24.3.1 Consumer Courts
For consumer protection issues, you may approach the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission.
24.3.2 Data Protection Board
For data privacy grievances unresolved internally, approach the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.
24.3.3 Arbitration
As per Section 12 of these Terms, disputes are finally resolved through binding arbitration.
25. Indemnification
25.1 Scope of Indemnity: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyAstroTech and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms or Privacy Policy
- Your use of the Platform beyond authorized scope
- Your violation of any third-party right (intellectual property, privacy, publicity)
- Your interactions with astrologers or other users
- Your provision of false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Your negligent or willful misconduct
25.2 Defense Cooperation
25.2.1
Upon request, you will cooperate fully in the defense of any claim.
25.2.2
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.
25.2.3
No settlement affecting you may be made without your consent (not unreasonably withheld).
26. Severability and Interpretation
26.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed. Remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
26.2 Interpretation:
- Headings are for convenience only and do not affect meaning.
- 'Including' means 'including without limitation.'
- Singular includes plural and vice versa where context permits.
- Reference to statutes includes amendments and successor legislation.
27. Entire Agreement and Survival
27.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and any service-specific terms presented at point of transaction, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyAstroTech regarding Platform use, superseding all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
27.2 Survival: Sections concerning Intellectual Property, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law and Dispute Resolution, and Payment Obligations incurred survive termination of these Terms or your account.
28. Waiver and Cumulative Remedies
28.1 No waiver of any breach or default constitutes waiver of any subsequent breach or default.
28.2 No waiver is effective unless in writing signed by an authorized MyAstroTech representative.
28.3 Remedies under these Terms are cumulative and not exclusive of remedies provided by law or equity.
29. Assignment and Delegation
29.1 You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent.
29.2 We may assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms without restriction, including to successor entities in a merger or acquisition, affiliated companies, or purchasers of assets or business lines.
29.3 Assignment does not relieve the assignor of obligations incurred prior to assignment.
30. Third-Party Beneficiaries
30.1 Astrologers and service providers are intended third-party beneficiaries of provisions protecting them from user liability, indemnification, and independent contractor status.
30.2 No other third parties have rights under these Terms.
31. Notices and Communications
31.1 Electronic Communications: You consent to receive communications from us electronically via email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

24 hours after email transmission; 3 days after posting by mail.
32. Term and Termination
32.1 Term: These Terms are effective upon your acceptance and continue until terminated by you or us.
32.2 Termination by You: You may terminate by deactivating your account in settings, emailing support@myastrotech.com, or ceasing all use of the Platform. Outstanding payment obligations survive termination.
32.3 Termination by Us: We may terminate or suspend immediately for breach of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, extended inactivity (12+ months), risk to platform security or other users, or request by law enforcement or regulatory authority.
32.4 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you cease, you must cease all use of the Platform, we may delete your account data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule, and sections intended to survive continue in effect.
33. Changes to Terms
33.1 Modification Rights: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in law or regulation (including DPDP Act implementation), new features or services, security or safety requirements, or business transfers or reorganizations.
33.2 Notice of Changes:
- Material changes: Email notification and prominent Platform notice 15 days before effective date.
- Non-material changes: Posted to Platform with updated date; continued use constitutes acceptance.
- Emergency changes: Immediate effect for security, legal compliance, or platform integrity; notice provided promptly after.
33.3 Acceptance of Changes: Your continued use of the Platform after changes are effective constitutes binding acceptance. If you do not accept changes, you must stop using the Platform.
